Legacy
When we say "AMP is more than 5PM-7PM on Tuesdays," we mean it! Our program strives to create lasting lessons, memories, and friendships that mentors and mentees will carry with them even beyond their time in the program. We hope that every year the program starts where the last year left off. That being said, we dedicate this section of our site to our past accomplishments and to all of the amazing individuals who have helped us along the way.

"It is important to realize how far the program has come. From a humble program barely scraping by all the way to becoming UCI’s premier mentorship program, AMP has come a long way thanks to our long history of uncompromising commitment to AMP's overarching goal to serve first year students. From the early days of AMP to now, it’s important to know that everything stems from an innate desire to genuinely assist first year students for the better. If you believe what you’re doing for first years is right, by all means go for it. We have learned from the successes and failures of our predecessors and continue to forge ahead for a better program. This is what drives and binds this program together. At the end of the day, we will look past politics, popularity, and notoriety if that means staying true to our mission of serving first year students."
